AFT™ Skin Rejuvenation
AFT™ Skin Rejuvenation is a series of Advanced Fluorescence Technology (AFT™) light treatments that improve the appearance of Rosacea, flushing, sun damaged skin, age spots, skin texture, and photo aging. The treatment also improves mild acne scars, reduces large pores, corrects dark circles around the eyes, and reduces fine lines. This exciting treatment involves little or no "downtime." Following treatment, patients can immediately resume normal activities.
An intense light is applied in a series of gentle pulses over the treatment area. Without damaging the skin, the light penetrates through the skin and is absorbed by the abnormally dilated vessels or pigmentation. The heat impairs the vessel or lesion, and the body begins its natural healing process. The lesion will darken before it flakes off or is absorbed by the body. Treatment can be given as frequently as every three weeks.
For optimal results, a series of five treatments is recommended. Some patients see significant improvement in two to three treatments; others require more. Follow-up treatments may be desired once a year to maintain results.

Skin Tightening
A unique facial rejuvenation option that produces dramatic results, laser skin tightening effectively reduces the appearance of wrinkles and loose skin for a smoother and more youthful appearance.
Laser skin tightening is a minimally invasive, non-surgical process that uses an infrared light source (a laser) to tighten skin by heating the collagen under the skin’s surface, which then causes the skin to contract (tighten). Facial skin tightening is noticeable immediately after treatment, and because there is no downtime, it is an increasingly popular procedure. Additional skin tightening occurs over the next few months but optimal results usually require two or three treatments spaced about a month apart.
Many people notice signs of aging when skin begins to sag around the face and neck. Laser skin tightening is appropriate for men and women of all skin types and skin tones who wish to achieve dramatic results without painful surgery and lengthy recovery times.

Chemical Peels
As we age, the accumulated effects of sun exposure, pollutants, acne, and scarring can damage our skin and cause us to look older than we are. Such skin damage can be treated with a chemical peel, a non-invasive procedure designed to promote cell growth and produce smoother, clearer skin.
Chemical peels also are used to treat melasma (a skin condition characterized by irregularly shaped patches of brown skin commonly found on the face and neck), and pre-cancerous changes in the skin. Chemical peels can be performed on the face, neck, chest, arms, hands, and legs.
Chemical Peels are topically applied acids that aid in the restoration and rejuvenation of the skin's surface. They create a uniform and controlled shedding of several layers of the skin. Depending on the nature and depth of the peel, a significant number of layers can be exfoliated allowing new growth to be exposed, creating a fresh, vibrant appearance.

AFT™ Acne Treatment
Acne is a common medical condition involving the sebaceous glands of the skin that affects over 80% of adolescents and many adults. During puberty, the body produces large amounts of an oily substance called sebum. Sebum, when combined with excess skin debris, sticks together in the pores causing them to become plugged. Without effective treatment, clogged pores can become infected, red, and swollen forming unsightly pimples that can lead to scarring. Common solutions, such as topical creams, can irritate the skin and take months to work. Other treatments like antibiotics can have multiple side effects and become less effective over time.
Finally, there is a safe and effective alternative to treating acne that also leaves your skin looking more youthful and rejuvenated. Advanced Fluorescence Technology (AFT™) is a breakthrough medical technology that has already helped many adults and teenagers win the battle against stubborn acne. With it, acne can be treated without messy creams, slow acting antibiotics, prescription medication, pain, or lifestyle interruptions. The Harmony's AFT acne treatment takes care of acne in just a fraction of the time it typically takes for antibiotics to work!
Advanced Fluorescence Technology (AFT™) is the latest development in pulsed light technology. While other phototherapy devices deliver low doses of blue light, Harmony's AFT acne treatment uses a much higher concentration of wavelengths. The unique treatment device targets only affected areas, thereby minimizing the risk of injury to surrounding tissue.

Laser Vein Therapy
In recent years medical lasers have made great advancement in sophistication. Today, lasers are safely used for a wide variety of cosmetic non-invasive treatments. Laser Therapy treatment is extremely safe and effective on leg veins, as well as veins visible on the face, neck, and chestjust about anywhere! Laser treatment also corrects benign pigmented lesions such as age spots, birthmarks, and tattoos. These non-invasive treatments are increasingly popular because they involve very few side effects, and you can resume your regular activities immediately following treatment!
Men, women, and children may be treated. Light and dark-skinned individuals can now safely and effectively benefit from Laser Therapy. Patients using blood thinners or afflicted with a serious illness generally are not candidates for treatment. Patients with dark suntans or photosensitivity disorders, diabetes, bleeding disorders, or currently taking photosensitizing medications may also be restricted from candidacy.
